Claire Robinson from EYMS (East Yorkshire Motor Services) contacted me to bring to our attention a photography competition that EYMS are running currently.
EYMS are looking for colour photographs by amateur photographers which represent East Yorkshire or Scarborough.
Amateur photographers are asked to submit up to a maximum of three photographs.
The title of each photograph should be attatched or written to the back of each photograph with a piece of paper with your full name, address, contact number, e-mail address and the title of each photo and location of where it was taken. You can also include a description of the photograph or a foreward, but it is entirely optional. Your entries must be submitted by Friday 8th August.
You can hand deliver or post them to Claire Robinson, EYMS, 252 Anlaby Road, Hull, HU3 2RS.
From what I can see, the only terms are the handed in prints must be minimum 10×7 inches and maximum 12×8 inches and must have an EYMS theme, but not necesarily a bus or coach. More information and full terms and conditions can be found here.

The Hull University Photography Society has been donated a camera.
We are now the proud owners of a Polaroid SX-70!
This camera was first released in 1972 and aimed at high end photographers with a wad.
The film contains a flat battery which power the camera, electronics and flash. A typical flash
would be an external unit containing five single use bulbs.
Many thanks to a certain Rob Miles who allowed me to take this instead of adding it to the rest
of the clutter in his office. I/we hereby donate it to HUPS.
